Origin and production – cocoa from the best growing areas in Ecuador
This cocoa comes from the biologically diverse regions in northern Ecuador and belongs to the Arriba Nacional variety, which represents only 1% of the country's total cocoa production. This heirloom variety is characterized by its floral aromas and sharp, complex flavors.
The cacao seeds are grown using regenerative agricultural methods and traditionally fermented to preserve the best flavours. They are then gently roasted at low heat to preserve the nutrients and release delicate notes of coconut, citrus fruits and flowers to unfold.
