Triphala, also known as "three fruits," is considered the most significant food supplement and the most important Rasayana in Ayurveda. It consists of equal parts of the three fruits Amalaki (Indian gooseberry), Haritaki (myrobalan), and Bibhitaki (green belleric myrobalan). Amalaki primarily calms Pitta, Haritaki mainly harmonizes Vata, and Bibhitaki primarily soothes Kapha. The combination of the three fruits balances all doshas.
For Classic Ayurveda's Triphala herbal tablets, only high-quality fruits (Amalaki, Haritaki, and Bibhitaki) are used, which have been dried at low temperatures (below 42°C). Compared to the usual air drying, this method is gentler as it better preserves the natural plant compounds. The fruits are then ground into powder. The powder contained in the tablets complies with the guidelines for raw food products and was specially produced for Amla Natur GmbH.
