Turmeric Latte with Ginger - Golden Milk Blend
The sunny yellow hot drink sweetens the morning and wakes everyone up through the day. The latte works great as a breakfast drink, but is also a great kickstarter for a proper dose of afternoon motivation.
Quick preparation: simply stir 1 teaspoon of the turmeric latte mixture into 200 ml (vegetable) milk, warm and sweeten as desired.
Preparation according to Ayurveda: In Ayurveda, a paste is first prepared from the turmeric-spice mixture. To do this, mix ¼ cup of spice mixture with ½ cup of water. The mixture is brought to a simmer on the stove and cooked until a paste forms - this can be stored in the fridge for 10 days.
To prepare turmeric latte, a teaspoon of the paste is boiled with 200 ml (vegetable) milk, refined with a teaspoon of coconut oil and sweetened as desired with agave syrup, honey or coconut blossom sugar.
