Product and chemotype
According to Damascena, this oil is steam-distilled from the herb of Thymus vulgaris. Its scent is intense, herbal and bitter. The bottle contains 5 ml of the thymol chemotype, which must not be confused with the separately offered linalool version.
The manufacturer specifies certified organic cultivation and France as the raw-material origin, subject to harvest variation. Hand-bottling takes place in Switzerland. Swiss bottling does not mean that the plant was grown in Switzerland.
Composition and declaration
Thyme essential oil, thymol chemotype. Botanical name given by the manufacturer: Thymus vulgaris. The declared fragrance allergen is linalool. This is not a complete analytical component list with concentrations. The label and current safety data sheet for the particular version remain essential.

Handling, restrictions and first aid
Do not use for children under six, during pregnancy or in people with epilepsy. Do not ingest or apply to the skin. This concentrate is not a ready-to-use body oil or sauna infusion. No universal drop dosage, inhalation instructions or homemade skin-blend recipe is provided. Dilution alone does not establish safe use.
Do not breathe vapours or aerosols. Avoid skin and eye contact, wear protective gloves and avoid release to the environment. Keep out of reach of children and store locked up.
If swallowed, immediately call a poison centre or doctor. Do not induce vomiting. If on skin or hair, immediately remove contaminated clothing and rinse skin with water or shower. If in eyes, rinse cautiously with water for several minutes, remove contact lenses if possible and continue rinsing. Have the container or label at hand when obtaining medical advice.
