Almond oil native
The native almond oil from Demeter production is gently cold-pressed in the NaturKraftWerke oil mill in the Zurich Oberland from sweet, unroasted Demeter almonds ( Prunus dulcis var. dulcus) and immediately filled into violet bottles .
The basic taste of the light yellow, unfiltered and untreated almond oil is mild and contains delicate vanilla notes. That's why it is particularly suitable for light and unobtrusive dishes.
Almond oil is ideal for cold cooking for salads, dips and sauces, but it can also be used for steaming, boiling and gently frying vegetables, meat or fish. Due to its delicate and slightly sweet taste, it is particularly suitable for sweet dishes and desserts, for baked goods and mixed drinks.
As a particularly mild, well-tolerated oil that is quickly absorbed into the skin, almond oil is often used in high-quality cosmetics.
