The mala is hand-knotted near the holy Ganges River in India under fair and ethical conditions. It is produced in a traditional family workshop where the work is carried out with great care, experience, and respect. The entire production process is personally overseen by Moris Bühlmann (GangaPrem) – from the initial crafting to the finished piece of jewelry. This ensures consistently high quality and fair working conditions.
A distinctive feature of these malas is the spiritual integration of their creation: the blessing of the family temple is invoked daily in the workshop and is part of the traditional environment in which the jewelry is made. Thus, the malas embody not only craftsmanship but also a culturally and spiritually rich atmosphere.
