Arriba Nacional – The Most Noble Cacao from Ecuador
Our cacao comes from the Arriba Nacional variety, which is prized in Ecuador for its floral aromas and sharp flavor notes. This special heirloom variety accounts for only 1% of the country's total cacao production. Compared to GMO cacao varieties, which are homogeneous and high-yielding but less aromatic and nutritious, Arriba Nacional offers a more complex and vibrant taste.
Cacao from Ancient Trees in Manabí
Our cacao is harvested from the remnants of ancient cacao trees in the province of Manabí along the Portoviejo River. These trees contribute to the unique diversity of aromas and connect the cacao to the history and tradition of the region.
