Pippali Asava

Pippali is able to stimulate the Agni and cleanse the body channels (shrotas). Ayurveda therefore calls the long pepper one of the most important rasayanas and uses it as an ingredient in numerous recipes. Surprisingly, its spiciness has a gentler effect and does not stimulate the Pitta Dosha like black pepper. Contains folic acid and niacin: Folic acid contributes to normal blood formation and normal immune system function. Niacin contributes to the normal functioning of the nervous system and the maintenance of normal skin and mucous membranes.

Ingredients:
Palm cane sugar, Dhathaki flower (Woodfordia fruticosa), aqueous extract from: grape vine fruit (Vitis vinifera), turmeric (Curcuma longa), long pepper (Piper longum) 0.2%, black pepper (Piper nigrum), Chavya pepper (Piper rectrofractum), Ceylon leadwort (Plumbago zeylanica), Cyprus grass (Cyperus rotundus), Indian gooseberry (Emblica officinalis), Acacia catechu, clove (Syzygium aromaticum), Tvak (Cinnamomum zeylanicum), Ela (Eletteria cardamomum), Malarbar cinnamon (Cinnamoum tamala ), Nagakesara (Measua ferrae), preservative: benzoic acid 0.1%
Recommended consumption:

20 ml twice daily with the same amount of warm water.
The daily intake contains fermented extract of 0.06 g Pippali (long pepper) as well as folic acid 252 mg = 126% of the NRV value and niacin 4.4 mg = 28% of the NRV value.
