Ayurveda massage oil
The Kshirabala thailam (milk-marshmallow oil) is very good for high Vata and also for Pitta. In general it is a very good Tridosha oil that can be used for the head and body.
Due to the high content of marshmallow (Althea officinalis/mallow root), it is Ojas-strengthening, calming and nourishing. The milk and ghee make it slightly cooling and can therefore also be used very well for Pitta. It is a traditional oil also for forehead pouring.

Bala (Sida cordifolia) is also a mallow plant like the marshmallow plant. They therefore have very similar effects. In South India, marshmallow is often referred to as bala.
