Cut organic curry leaves
The leaves of the Indian curry tree (Surabhinimba) are often used for rice, dal and other vegetarian dishes because of their spicy, fresh aroma. In addition to being used in cooking pots, curry leaves can also be brewed as a tea. Incidentally, the leaves have nothing to do with the familiar spice “curry”; this refers to a mixture of spices.
Curry leaves are particularly popular in South Indian and Sri Lankan cuisine. According to Ayurveda, they have a strengthening effect on Agni.
