Particularities:
very high content of saturated (approx. 23% palmitic acid), monounsaturated (approx. 36% oleic acid) and polyunsaturated fatty acids (approx. 30% linoleic acid)
Characteristics:
protects against water loss, smoothing, film-forming, barrier-protecting
Application:
ideal oil for dry, dehydrated skin; stabilizing component in oil mixtures with oils that are more sensitive to oxidation such as evening primrose oil or currant seed oil.
