During the Shirodhara treatment, the person being treated lies relaxed on a couch while warm oil flows gently and continuously over their forehead. The Shirodhara vessel is positioned above the forehead so that the oil stream can flow at a steady rhythm. The finely adjustable spigot ensures a controlled and even release of the oil.
The vessel is made of high-quality copper – a material frequently used in Ayurveda tradition. With the included sturdy brass chains, the pot can be attached to a Shirodhara stand or directly to the ceiling of the treatment room.

Application
The vessel is usually positioned about 15–20 cm above the forehead of the person being treated. The warmed oil flows slowly and evenly onto the forehead through the adjustable spigot.
The pot can be hung on a Shirodhara stand or directly from the ceiling of the treatment room.
