Agnihotra cow dung
Agnihotra is the simplest fire technique of Homa therapy. It underlies all other methods of Homa therapy and follows the principle:
“Heal the atmosphere and the atmosphere heals you.”
Agnihotra is performed exactly at sunrise and sunset. Traditionally, a pyramid-shaped copper bowl is used to smoke cow dung.
Although this simple technique only takes about ten minutes in the morning and evening, the effects are quite astonishing: our atmosphere is purified on various levels, making us calmer and more balanced, plants thrive and are more resistant to all kinds of diseases. Animals feel comfortable and we help clean the environment in a certain area.
Dried cow dung is used for the Agnihotra fire.
In all ancient cultures, whether among the Indians of North or South America, whether in Scandinavia, Eastern or Western Europe, Africa or Asia, cow dung is considered a medicinal substance with strong disinfecting and detoxifying effects.
Through the process of Agnihotra, a combination is formed from cow dung, ghee and rice, which on the one hand rises into the atmosphere and neutralizes negativity and on the other hand provides food for all life. Crop yields are increasing and Mother Earth is returning to harmony with the cosmos.
