Ground ginger
The dried, ground ginger is less lemony and tangy than fresh ginger, but has more spiciness. In addition to the spicy base note, hay-like aromas come into play. In this country, fresh ginger powder is mainly used in Christmas cookies (gingerbread , gingerbread), chutneys, pickled fruit (apples, pears, citrus fruits), in fruit and fruit salads and vegetable soups.
