Description
Chyavanprash (Amlamus)
Chyavanprash is a traditional Ayurvedic fruit puree whose original recipe was recorded over 2000 years ago in the Ayurvedic classic “Charaka Samhita”. An essential ingredient of Chyavanprash is Amla (Emblica officinalis, Amalaki, Indian gooseberry). Amla will have a balancing effect on all three doshas – Vata, Pitta and Kapha – said. The harmonious, sweet and sour taste makes Chyanvanprash a delicious, healthy food.
